Pink Diamond Martial Arts was founded by the head instructor, Hasina Rahman.
She started her Martial Arts journey at the age of 15 with shotokan karate. After 7 years and achieving 2nd Dan black belt, Hasina started kickboxing. She trained in Kickboxing and Muay Thai at the same time, taking part in local tournaments. After 4 years she achieved her black belt in Kickboxing and started to teach women's Muay Thai in Dorset.
At the age of 31, she found MMA. She went for intensive training in London for 6 months and qualified as an MMA conditioning coach.
Hasina started Pink Diamond in 2015 in Luton. The first few years were a struggle, trying to reach out to the community and showcasing the benefits of Martial Arts. Since then, the club has held 4 female only charity sparring tournaments, gradings every 6 months and over 100 students enrolled. The club holds regular events to strengthen the sisterhood created.
Pink Diamond Martial Arts also runs self-defence workshops around the UK, teaching women realistic life-saving techniques.
Hasina has now achieved 12 awards & a medal of honour for service to the community.
In April 2021, Hasina won the Natwest & Getty Image campaign for #betherolemodel
She has been featured in Red Magazine , appearing on the front cover & 4-page spread inside! Hasina has also been featured in Metro, The Sunday Times & many other media outlets.
